Bought this morning and each time I started it since it made me activate.  Finally it says it's been activated too many times.  Two business days for them to get back to me...

 Any ideas appreciated.

I am using software from Protexis for the registration process.  I have had 2 other people contact me about registration issues.  One person got back to me to let me know that Protexis was able to get it working for them.  (Not sure about the other one.)

I went with them because I wanted a hassle free registration expirence.  I'm watching this issue very closely to see if I should use them again next release.  Please let me know how it goes.

Good experience to report.  Emailed Friday after they closed - they replied promptly this morning with a new serial.  This time I immediately saw an activation sreen pop up before just receiving an activation (which is likely what messed me last time). Service-wise, I think these guys are good, though I didn't like the software activation process they use.

Finally, is there a way to get the "what do you want to do?" screen not to pop up on program launch?  Since I don't know anyone to play my choices are usually just beating a virtual you. :)

I'm glad to hear that everything is running smoothly now.

Thanks for the feedback on the main menu screen.  I think I'll put a check box on it "[x] Show at startup" kind of thing for the next release.  You are the second person to ask me about this.

As for other players... the software is growing slowly.  Perhaps when more people become active on this board you will find other people to play against.  At any rate, it sounds like I need to improve the computer's algorithm (yet again!).  I have some ideas in that area... stay tuned!

I have had several problems with activating.  I have been given a new serial number 3 times and on my last communication with Potexis on Dec.18, 2007 they stated that I have something on my system corrupting the data associated with the activation.  I have not try to activation since my last communication.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
